As soon as a puppy is weaned from it’s mother, they can start their new raw diet.
Start with a single protein, like chicken or turkey for the first week. This will help your pup adapt to his new food. In the second week, introduce a second protein, and in the third week introduce another, and so on… It is recommended to feed a puppy three times a day until the age of 6 to 9 months. You can then feed twice daily, or even once a day if you choose to do so.
Feed your puppy 2 to 3% of his anticipated adult body weight. If you’re not sure, feed 10 % of his current weight, adjusting accordingly with his activity levels and body condition. Also be sure to monitor his or her growth on a regular basis and always supply fresh clean drinking water.
Feel free to add a fresh organic whole egg or some delicious goat’s milk to your pup’s meals!
